Mississippi Blood book signing for NCS

Mississippi Blood book signing for NCS

On Sunday, March 19, Natchez native and New York Times best-selling author Greg Iles will autograph first editions of Mississippi Blood, his latest novel and the thrilling conclusion to his Natchez Burning Trilogy. The book signing will be held at Dunleith (84 Homochitto Street in Natchez) between 3:00pm and 6:00pm.

At the same time, Stanley Nelson, editor of the Concordia Sentinel and 2011 Pulitzer Prize finalist, will autograph his recently published Devils Walking. The events described in Nelson’s book and in his earlier investigative reporting provided the inspiration for much of the Natchez Burning Trilogy. Devils Walkingwill be available for purchase ($32.05) at the book signing.

Iles’ Mississippi Blood can be reserved in advance through Natchez Children’s Services. Or your first editions can be shipped or picked up later. The book will be generally released a couple of days later. Each book is $30, and half of the purchase price is tax deductible. Shipping is $10 per book.

Music and a cash bar will be provided at the signing. Dunleith will offer a special Greg Iles menu at its restaurant, The Castle. Dunleith Historic Inn will offer a special $125 rate for the night of March 19. There is no admission charge.

We are again grateful to Greg Iles for his generosity and happy to have Stanley Nelson join us.
